Right on the cusp of Human Rights Day on 10 December, Swarga Fest intends to highlight the never ending armed violence in Papua. The issue of Papua is often a "sensitive" issue that is taboo to be discussed by ordinary people because of the threat of criminalization by the State, although it is clear that there is a problem of armed violence that does not go away. After his inauguration, TNI Commander Andika Perkasa called for the State to adopt a “humanist approach” to the Papua issue. Will this be just a promise?
