Jakarta, CNN Indonesia - The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) revealed that dozens of people from 23 organizations that the government calls the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua want a "peace" dialogue.
Komnas HAM chairman Ahmad Taufan Damanik said that his party heard directly about this request during a visit to Papua.
"There are dozens who have been met by the Komnas HAM team and we offer them if there is a peace dialogue, we will give an example like in Aceh, are they willing, the average answer is yes," said Taufan in an online discussion on Papuan Human Security on Youtube Imparsial Indonesia, Thursday (2 /12).
