TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA –An Imparsial Senior Al Araf criticized Law Number 16 of 2017 concerning Community Organizations also known as Ormas.
In this law, the government has the authority to dissolve mass organizations.
In fact, according to Al Araf, the disbanding of mass organizations without going through a court process is a violation of human rights.
"I think the dissolution by the government in a democratic rule of law is a form of principal violation of the constitution and human rights," said Al Araf in the book launching of "Mass Organizations' Dissolvances", Wednesday (30/3/2022).
