Chairman of the Independent Student Community Commission, Somatua Intan Jaya, Feri Belau asked the Indonesian government to immediately withdraw the military from Bumi Migani, Intan Jaya Regency. Including the whole land of Papua.
"Based on student dialogue with displaced residents in Nabire and Intan Jaya, the displaced residents want to return to their hometowns.
Because they are afraid that the Indonesian military sometimes shoots indiscriminately and civilians become victims of gunfire," he told Jubi in Waena, Tuesday (2/8/2022).
